Ideal for early recovery

Services provided by Structured Living sober homes are a genuine giveback by a very grateful recovering alcoholic with resources. It is remarkable to see how one person's effort to help others is changing lives. A noble venture indeed!
My brother is a resident of one of their sober facilities
for nearly an year now. This is the longest he has managed to stay sober & clean. Earlier, he could not muster but a couple of weeks of clean time despite having been into many detox, rehab & sober homes in the Midwest.
Someone is doing something right at Structured Living. You
can expect all the support but anyone not
serious about their recovery is told to leave promptly. Residents are expected to live up to their promise to follow the simple "rules of stay" No excuses. Contact for an opening only if you are dead serious about your recovery. I promise you will be glad that you did.

Only serious persons should apply to live in these places. These guys are very caring but when it comes to recovery they mean business and do not mess around.
My first stay lasted for merely for two weeks. I was evicted for using and failing a drug test. Thought I could fool them as I had used an over the counter "cleaning agent".
Now, I am in an inpatient treatment program and have come to realize that my eviction from the Structured Living sober house in Ann Arbor was perhaps the best thing that happened to me. They did the right thing for my own good.
My counselor here suggests that I should stay at a sober three quarter house when I complete my treatment next month. Been here for 70 days already getting to learn more about my disease and stinking thinking. During my stay here, I have sad news that one of my using friends recently
died from Heroin overdose. He was also evicted along with me from Structured Living LLC but he unfortunately did not take their suggestion and admit himself into a long term treatment facility.
After having contacted a few other sober homes, I have feel that the comfort, care and people at Structured Living are most suitable for my recovery. They evicted me for my own good and advised my parents that I go thru a long term inpatient treatment. Last week I called the house manager at Structured Living who actually had kicked me out and he was very happy to learn that I was doing good and said that they would love to have me back. This is the same person who I thought disliked me. That is really cool.
I look forward to returning to Ann Arbor, find myself a job and complete college. My parents agree with me and will support me as long as I live in a Structured Living LLC home as they are very impressed with them. After coming to my senses, So am I.

Being A Case Manager With A Leading Community Service, I Have To Visit Various Halfway. Three Quarter, Transitional Homes On A Regular Basis, Which Include Those Belonging To Structured Living. These Houses Are Really Nice. Neat, Well Furnished, & Comfortable. Good Locations. Very Reasonably Priced. Someone With Deep Pockets Has A Big Heart To Subsidize These Services. Wish More Persons With Similar Passion Were There To Help The Community.
I Do Agree With What Sean Smith Had To Say In His Comments Ahead Of Me Regarding Their "Zero" Tolerance Policy. These Houses Are For Recovering Individuals Who Are Indeed Serious About Getting Better. I am Careful In Placing Clients In These Houses. As A Result, Three Serious Clients Who Have Been Residents Of Structured Living for 4 to 18 months Have Nothing But Good Things To Say About Their Experiences. Note: Like Any Other Place, They Did Have Some Trouble Adjusting In The Beginning Of Their Stays. However, With The Help Of Others, They Were Able To Work Their Way Thru And Settle Down Into A Structured Routine.
Resident House Managers Are Very Careful In Their Dealings With The Residents. The Person Behind This Operation Is Known To Hold The Managers Accountable
Sternly If He Feels That A Resident Was Treated Unfairly. I Have Seen One Manager Being Replaced. According To His Doctrine, Everyone In The House, Including The Managers Or A Supervisor [ Who Are Also In Recovery ] Are Equal And In The Same Boat. No One Is ?MoreEqual.Compassion, Consideration, Care & Fairness Are To Be Exercised While Implementing The ?Zero? Tolerance.
